PoMaTo is a cloud-based Software-as-a-Service platform supporting user-directed portfolio management workflows, including research and investment intelligence, portfolio construction and optimisation, portfolio implementation preparation, monitoring and reporting. These capabilities are provided as software, data-processing and computational tools operating on user-defined inputs, parameters, assumptions and constraints .
- Not Authorized by the FCA: PoMaTo Ltd. is a technology provider. It is not authorized or regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the United Kingdom.
- No Regulated Activities: PoMaTo does not perform regulated activities, including "Advising on Investments" (Article 53 RAO) or "Managing Investments" (Article 37 RAO). Our tools are purely computational and do not constitute a "Personal Recommendation" under FCA Handbook rules.
- No Advice: Nothing on this platform should be construed as financial, legal, tax, or investment advice.
- No Financial Promotion: Nothing on this platform constitutes an offer, invitation, solicitation, or inducement to engage in investment activity.
2. The "User-Directed" Model (Computational Engine)
PoMaTo supports user-directed portfolio management workflows. It does not make investment decisions on behalf of users.
- Users select the assets, investment universe, assumptions, models, objectives, parameters and constraints used by the platform and remain responsible for interpreting all resulting outputs.
- Professional Use: The platform is designed for users with sufficient knowledge and experience to understand financial markets, portfolio construction, quantitative models and associated investment risks.
- PoMaTo supports research, portfolio construction, optimisation, implementation preparation, monitoring and reporting as a software platform. Users remain solely responsible for their investment research, portfolio decisions, trade execution and portfolio management activities.
3. Data, Backtesting and Market Risk
- Hypothetical Performance: Any backtesting or scenario analysis results are hypothetical and mathematically derived. They do not represent actual trading and are not a guarantee of future performance. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.
- Data Accuracy: While we utilize high-fidelity data feeds, PoMaTo provides all information on an "As-Is" basis. We do not guarantee the timeliness or accuracy of third-party data.
- Capital at Risk: The value of investments can fall as well as rise. You may get back less than you originally invested.

Where the platform is used to analyze crypto assets or digital assets, the following applies:
Don’t invest unless you’re prepared to lose all the money you invest. This is a high-risk investment and you should not expect to be protected if something goes wrong. This applies to all "Digital Assets" and "Cryptoassets" analyzed within this platform.
4. No Brokerage, Execution or Custody
PoMaTo is an independent, broker-agnostic and non-custodial software platform.
PoMaTo does not:
- Hold client money or assets.
- Execute or transmit orders to an exchange, broker or market.
- Provide access to financial markets.
- Act as a broker, custodian, discretionary investment manager or fiduciary.
Any implementation output or trade-file export is provided solely as a data-formatting and workflow-support function. Users remain entirely responsible for reviewing and executing transactions through their own independent, regulated providers.
5. Jurisdiction of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, PoMaTo Ltd. shall not be liable for any loss arising from reliance on the platform’s outputs or damage arising from the use of, or reliance on, the platform’s analytical outputs. Use of this software constitutes acceptance of these terms.
